• Promoting the recovery of Humerus fractures, the Sarmiento brace compresses your surrounding muscles and soft tissues. Its cylinder-shape provides a stabilizing force equal in all directions (circumferential compression), which limits motion at the fracture site so it can heal correctly.
• The distal Humerus articulates at the elbow to the radius and ulna in the forearm. The Humerus provides structural support to the arm and is an insertion point for many important muscles in the upper body, such as pectoralis major, latissimus dorsi, rotator cuff muscles, and more.
• To immobilize and maintain compression for fracture alignment and healing for distal or midshaft humerus fractures. Double compression support with bivalve foam padding for full comfort. How do you fit a humeral fracture brace? The straps should be as tight as possible without cutting off circulation. The strap at the top of the cuff should go under the opposite arm and around the body. This strap also helps keep the brace from sliding down.
