Mirchimints provides Kerala special papads / pappadam-ready to fry, which is favorite for our kids. Papads are popular tasty Indian snack food . usually made from dried lentils. To make bat papad water is added to black gram flour along with salt and peanut oil. Post preparation of dough, small round balls are prepared which are then rolled into thin round flat or any other shapes bread. These are further dried in the sun light. It can be cooked by deep frying, toasting, roasting depending upon one's requirement. papads are made of lentils. It is free from gluten , rich in protein and dietary fiber. It can be served as an accompaniment to an Indian meal, as a snack. It may also served with soup . As it is made with black gram, it's shelf life is very short. so please replace it in an air tight container and keep in your refrigerator to extend maximum shelf life. Premium quality rice powder is spread over the papads, to avoid sticky. You can cut the papads into different small shapes and fry it. for making a simple and spicy papd recipe, add some fried red chilly flakes into fried papads. and mix well and serve it hot as a side dish with meals.
